Since I've lost weight and gained confidence and started dressing better and putting more effort into my appearance I've been getting complimented and honestly-. Everyone loves compliments. But it's nice my hard work is noticed by others.

NGL want me a successful wife so I can do a cozy part time social job that doesn't make me want to end it all. I miss having time to stream. This single woman life is exhausting and expensive.

Picked up another Robbie McNiven book and I'm sure I've said before how much I rate him as a writer. His writing style is so easy to follow but still manages emotional depth. Picked up this one cause I was in the mood for a comfy read.

I love buying second hand books because .1. Not a fan of how the business is running rn .B. Gems like this. Tangible proof this book was enjoyed before it my hands found it.

God The road is so fucking good. The way it's impossible to tell if it's the boy or the man talking and you can only decide based on how you interpret them. The man being hollowed out by grief and struggle, the boy being aged by his experiences in the only world he's ever known.

Literally the point of books and movies is for us to have experiences in a safe and detached way. I wept reading Fulgrim cause I've known the grief of losing a brother. Proper cried too, ruined my night. Reached out to McNeill not long after and thanked him for his work.

The Road is one of my favourite books. I've read it multiple times. It's horrendously dire and I adore every second of it. Misery and grief is part of the human experience. My CBT therapist kept calling them "Bad" feelings but they're just feelings. It's important to feel them.
