The face is going through some change I think i finally found a way to give the feeling that the crest being “touched by the sun” This is important, as in the folklore of the indigenous people of the steppes, dragons are one of the incarnation of the sun god/spirit

What if the mummakil wasn’t a proboscidean ? Inspired by the likes of Granastrapotherium. One branch of Meridiungulata grew enormous I can’t find it, but a while ago I saw a discussion about the fact mummakil only have 3 visible digits, which hints at a different ancestry

Despite being ill I think this first formation #paleostream of the year turned out pretty good. The Upper Elliot Formation from the early Jurassic of South Africa is an important piece for our understanding of sauropod evolution but beyond that it's just a really cool assemblage

Rooting around in the underbrush can bring about many parasites. However for theses pigs of east Asia, encouraging them to gather in harmless pockets in the skin let predators know the company that comes with hunting them.
