Planning problems - yes. Lots of my clients have plenty of gripes about that! But also the lack of what, in the olden days, we called council houses.
Times (£) Times joins FT and Telegraph, saying housing shortages are down to planning issues. The “complex and unpredictable” planning system is probably the biggest reason why housing supply has always fallen short.’ Read the CMA statement more carefully. https://t.co/svMBJYcsgV

Changes affecting HNWs were absent from the autumn statement, but a Conservative pledge on inheritance tax could come before the election

My favourite quote from the legal directories 2023. Flattering to get individual recognition but named lawyers are nothing without the rest of the firm behind them. Thanks to my colleagues who provide great service behind the scenes on client deals - the wind beneath my wings.

Anyone who like me has brought spare socks to a site visit to stuff into boots to make them fit? Or worse? This survey is for men and women. Please do take the time to fill it in.

My first child was born 14 days early - & 11 hours too soon for his father to qualify for paternity leave. The bank employing him were so keen to show men could take paternity leave he was allowed to take it. That was 20+ years ago. So disappointed to see this is still an issue.
