Key messages: SLPs need to critically reflect on what we can do to improve our effective engagement of spoken interpreters. When SLPs and interpreters make time to connect via briefing and debriefing everyone benefits. SLPs need to embargo clinical time for briefing and debrief.

Our desk and literature review note that there are improvements in service availability in a number of countries (e.g., Fiji, Guam, Samoa, Solomon Islands) but still an overwhelming absence or undersupply of #SLPeeps in the region. 2/3
