It’s official! Affordable, personalized health care plans for farm families are coming to Ohio now that SB100 has been signed by the Governor. I’m glad to have championed this bill through the legislature and look forward to the relief it will bring to farmers across the state.

This bill allows the Ohio Farm Bureau to offer a self-funded, self-governed health benefit plan that provides a free-market option for those who need an affordable alternative.

That’s why I introduced SB 100- the Farm Bureau Health Plan- to give self-employed Ohioans, especially those in agriculture, greater freedom and flexibility when it comes to their coverage.

Senate Bill 100 is headed to the Governor’s desk! As the top agricultural district in Ohio, we know firsthand how vital our farmers are to the economy and our way of life, yet many still face challenges in finding affordable health care.

It was an honor attending the White House State Leadership Conference with county commissioners from the 12th Senate District and my Senate colleagues!

This win made Urbana bowling the only program at the school to capture state titles in both boys and girls bowling — an outstanding achievement. Congratulations, Urbana!.

I was excited to recognize the Urbana HS girls bowling team for their incredible achievement in capturing the 2025 OHSAA Division II State Championship. Their victory not only secured the team’s first-ever state title, but also marked Urbana’s sixth state championship! 🎳🏆

I was proud to welcome the Russia Boys Basketball team to the Ohio Senate to honor their 2025 Division VII State Championship. The Raiders completed a perfect 29–0 season, earning the school’s first-ever state title and the 1,000th win in program history. Congrats, Raiders! 🏀🏆
