4/ UPSC Final Cut-Off – Margins are Tightening.📊 General: 953 (2023) ➡️ 947 (2024). ⚠️ OBC (910) & EWS (917) are barely 30–37 marks behind General. SC/ST also closely bunched. 🎯 Lessons:.- Every single mark matters.- Focus on Mains; Interview can’t save weak written marks. 📖.

The chapter “Reshaping India’s Political Map” highlights:.- Alauddin Khilji’s destruction of Hindu temples.- Babur’s “towers of skulls” & enslavement.- Akbar’s Chittorgarh massacre (30,000 civilians).- Aurangzeb’s edicts to demolish temples. This wasn’t in the old Class 7 NCERT.
