wandering makes it sound extreme lol, but I grew up in the country. me & my brother wld be in the woods, at the lake, riding bikes wherever, making up games, grabbing snacks out of the garden, drinking out the hose etc. like we were OUTSIDE outside. good times 🙂
Be Honest.. Did parents really just let their kids wander the neighborhood all day with no phone and just say... be back before dark??

I also refuse to discuss toddler stuff with anyone who hasn’t had a toddler in the last 5 years. If you haven’t had a small child in awhile, your memory isn’t reliable and your advice cannot be trusted lol I said what I said
no one should be allowed to participate in toddler discourse unless they are deeply familiar between the difference between a 2 and 2.5 year old. this includes parents who forgot or weren't seriously involved.
