I wanted to sit for a while with this epic report by @SummersAnne, to give it the consideration it deserves. This data (though incomplete in fundamental ways) should prompt a radical shift in the way we respond to family violence *and* gender inequality.

Tough day for many at ANU. At around midday staff received a university-wide email. The language was ambiguous and could be read to say all forced redundancies would stop. I received many messages from people being forced out. Were they now safe?
