The Community Council team will serve a 3 months term, and receive $1k/month from the DAO treasury. "Death" remains the 5th council member with veto power, but will not receive payment. The Council team will have to go through KYC and sign an NDA.

Candidates were selected based on how their skills and perspectives complement one another across governance, community growth, and education. ⚠️ These appointments are subject to a formal vote. The final selection will be made by the DAO through our usual voting process.

👨‍⚖️ Auction Service. The @buidly_ team is currently building an auction service, directly integrated into the SuiNS protocol. What does this mean? Time-based auctions coming in late Q4, Christies' style 🎨.

👤 Profiles. Built by @nexaxyz, Profiles will enable users to attach metadata to their name: social links, crosschain wallets, custom avatars, and much more. This will 10x SuiNS' onchain identity capabilities in early Q4 ✨.

👋 SuiNS Communities. Communities is a social identity layer on Sui launching in late Q3/early Q4. This platform will supercharge onchain connections and leverage subnames like you've never seen before.

🔥 Buyback & Burn. The DAO voted in favor of using 80% of SuiNS' fees to buyback and burn $NS tokens. The contracts are also being audited. You can expect the first batch of tokens to be purchased and burned in about a month. Supply is about to go 📉📉📉.

🌿 Staking. The kitchen is hot, UI is ready, contracts are done, we went through testing and the audit is now underway. If cleared, the platform with built-in rewards will launch around end of August.
