Why does it take us a global pandemic to slow down? Now weβve been granted the opportunity to reflect on our actions. Make the most of this quarantine: reimagine the way you live your life. Original (in Spanish) by Miguel Brieva translated by @GuerrillaTrans

4. Eating well π©βπ³π²π₯¦π½οΈ Probably the most controversial point. We'll all agree with vegetables. Perhaps on supplements like zinc. At the risk of inflaming (poor pun intending), avoiding inflammatory foods (sugar, flour, seed oils) helps. Adding bone broth and liver - too much?

3. Moving our bodies πββοΈποΈπ©βπΎ Many of us will be working from home for a while, which may mean we have a little more time for this. Physical activity boosts our immune system. Walking. Jogging. Lifting. Bending. Squatting. Hanging. Standing. Gardening. Groundbreaking.

2. Sleep π΄π I'm sure we all know this...7.5 hours of sleep time (not bedtime) allows our bodies to rejuvenate. I find having a regular time to go to bed, no screen time 2 hours before bed, taking my phone out of my room all to help.

1. Manage stress levels π§ββοΈ Ironically the more we watch and think about Covid-19, the more stressed we get and the more likely we are to catch it. I've found managing my stress levels through meditation, minimising Covid-19 'research' time, and talking with friends all helpful.

Regardless, here is my attempt at writing something a little less panic-inducing, which might even provide some longer-term benefit.π€·ββοΈ I'm not an expert. This guy is @chriskresser. Suggestions are from this article (and based on my own experience):

Not another Covid-19 post! And so boring as well...who cares about how I can boost my immune system to help me fight it if I catch it. It is so much more exciting to go to the supermarket and fight over the last carrot. π₯π€Ί

I love the dynamic the cofounders of @wywlpodcast bring to their work. Listen in as I talk with two other Adams (Ashton and Jones) about the magic they bring to books. https://t.co/Q1VWk7GB7X.

How often have you lost the flow of a story when you have noticed the flickering eyes of the person you are sharing with? Candice Smith from The Thinking Field talks about the amazing power we all have in helping those around us do their best thinking. https://t.co/gU1p1BY7iX

SD80: @linaXpatel. "I think there's something really interesting when you are playing at the edge of, both what's possible and what is permitted. I think that is a really interesting place to be, and I think I will always find my way to that spot."

Some great things happening in the world of @rubyleecareers at the moment. It was great to have a chat with her while we were still working together at @cogent_co.
