I've been in fusion for years now, I'm comfortable in it, but also think maybe I'm too comfortable. SW is on sale for $25, is it worth the time to learn a new CAD? What do you prefer and why? What do you design with what you use?

Look what else showed up on my porch this week. @Elegoo_Official #centauricarbon Running the first print now. So far so good. I must say the slicer - Printer connection process is way better than the #AD5X so that's nice.

Got my @ff3dprinters #AD5X in good time Working on a first impressions and later full review for this thing but so far I'm liking it. I do wish they hadn't removed the dark mode toggle from the slicer though 😭🤔

Seems like it's time for some folks to read ITAR and CMMC guidelines and their penalties. We have talked about these security issues for years. Glad someone else sees it too. 2A or otherwise, it's worth a read. Bambu 3MF metadata has identifiable info in it.
IMPORTANT: If you're in GunCAD and have been redistributing Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer 3mf project files, STOP doing that NOW. Details here: https://t.co/YO6jCokdFV The short of it: if you're signed into the slicer, your account ID (a number) is saved to every project file you

I've been having issues printing certain TPU's where the filament diameter seems to be too small so the extruder can't grip it, I can easily pull it out of the gears by hand. I'm specifically having the issue with @SirayaTech 85a and @phaetus3D TPU -Air. I've tried on multiple

Having issues migrating my @fever_soft #Orcaslicer user profiles from my Windows 11 portable over to Pop!OS (Flatpak and Appimage). It's crashing seconds after opening with the following codes: (orca-slicer:10034): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 19:19:52.518: gtk_widget_set_size_request:

I'm a big fan of TPU for special use cases. Gonna have to pick up some of this TPU-air to try.
🆚 TPU 85A vs TPU Air – Which one fits your build? Same model. Same size. But two totally different feels. On the left ➡️ TPU Air – matte texture, ultra-lightweight (thanks to foam tech!), soft and squishy to the touch. On the right ➡️ TPU 85A – smooth surface, firmer grip, and

Man, I really do like #fusion in so many ways, but I can't stand that if their servers are having issues, it causes me issues on my local PC. I truly don't understand why I can't run the program fully local without losing any features. I'm just trying to design a camera mount for

Controls for my kitchen growbox / hydroponic grow are coming along nicely. The soil temp in my germination trays was swinging between 65°F at night and 85°F during the day with the lights were on, so I installed a seedling heat mat (for my superhots) and have a bang_bang

Maybe I'll finally get around to organizing the 2.3 million random screws I have sitting in boxes😀
Remember the awesome Amazing Gridfinity M3 Bolt Sorter from LayerLux3D? Today we've got an upgraded version of that idea: the Mechanical M3 Bolt/Screw Sorting Device by EmGi. 🦾 It's completely 3D printed, works by hand (no motors needed!), and has removable bins for easy bolt
