Yakutsk, 2017/8/28! Sinking permafrost. It has already melted and turned into gley soil. To my surprise, I found my soil survey shovel, which I had lost a few years ago.

This @WRB2022 excursion in 2019 was the most beautiful trip I've ever taken 🤩. Traveling thousands of kilometers through the breathtaking landscapes 🏔️🏜️of #Mongolia and loaking at its #soils. Thanks to @Undurxu for this wonderful trip.

#SoilClassification time! 🧑🔬 This photo shows a profile that’s clearly a Technosol under @WRB2022. Based on its visible features, which primary and/or supplementary qualifiers would you assign? @Subsolum, want to kick it off?
