It’s the beginning of day 2 on the RV Simon Stevin and we’ve just finished our first night of survey. We’ve a busy day ahead, with a number of targets within the first survey area before moving up the southern river valley @BradArcForensic @VLIZnews

During Robyn and Simon's recent field work planning trip to Lake Ogawara, Northern Japan, they had the opportunity to visit the the Towada Volcano, a highly eruptive force during the Late Palaeolithic which has now formed into a caldera.
