Metro Animal Care and Control Budget Update!. We have added one vet and one vet tech to the budget. I am trying today in our last work session to get one more vet tech, as vets need two techs. This is a great win in order to move MACC forward finally! Stay tuned for more updates.

Tennessee lost a giant today. State Representative Bill Beck passed away suddenly today. He was a wealth of knowledge! His warmth, kindness and sincere passion to fight for Tennesseans will forever be remembered. He will truly be missed.

State Legislature Update:. This afternoon, the state voted to expel State Representative Justin Jones(District 52), the first of three individuals up for expulsion for holding a protest at the legislature last week following the shootings at The Covenant School.
