Distal femur fractures were a topic of controversy at last weeks OTA. Help us define current UK practice - How quickly do we get to theatre? What do we do when we get there? What do we do post-op? @SouthTeesOrtho @bota_uk @CornetResearch @YorkshireORC

https://t.co/hK4x2SWom1 - Longer time to surgery for distal femur compared to proximal, higher mortality at 30 days, 6 months and 1 year. Is this the same nationwide? What's stopping us getting to theatre? Help us find out! @bota_uk @YorkshireOrtho @SouthTeesOrtho

Hopefully, @WAX_trial results will help the debate for ankles. But do we need a randomised study around the knee? @Complex_FracPSP and @RCSnews team in July seemed to think so! Either way - @StudyKnee is probably the next step. Looking forward to this kicking off soon 🦵!
