We’re really looking forward to having the final printed assets in the studio, but we want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved for the amazing work and support.

We felt it was a shame to have the story we created be such a background concept for the album. So we built (together with Rob Walker) a text based adventure game, where the user can play through the story, and if won, receive a bonus track

We then collaged these together after building them in blender, and created the final tapestry. Alongside this we created a custom typeface for the tracklist and title that was based off a gothic script font and then manipulated to mimic pixel/video game graphics

Once we’d created the story we wanted to tell, we started sketching out how all the characters would look. We then started sculpting these in VR

The way in which jacquard knitting machines work, creates a sort of grid pattern that we felt was reminiscent of pixel grids. We wanted to play with the duality of these two mediums.

Heavee had a story he wanted us to tell. Of a character who goes on a journey of self discovery, fighting demons and coming out the other side stronger. Through our research we were drawn to medieval tapestries and the way in which this would tell tales

It’s been a long time coming, a lot of blood and sweat but it’s finally there! Heaveee new album “unleash”. 3d sculpting, digital tapestry making, virtual storytelling. We poured everything in to this. More to come.
