Congrats to our Student of the Week! Rachael is a sophomore at UC San Diego. Last week, Rachael was the star of our CALPIRG chapter's membership drive, collecting HALF of the total new pledges, building support for the CALPIRG chapter and our campaign to Protect our Oceans!!

Over 200 students swapped clothing at the event which saved over 750+ pieces of clothing from being dumped into landfills! Nice work Juniper!

Congrats to our Student of the Week! Juniper is a sophomore Psych & Neuroscience major at the @uoregon. This week, Juniper organized a clothing swap where students could swap clothes, get clothes professionally altered & learn DIY clothing alterations.

Chloe is a 3rd yr & incoming Chapter Chair for UCSD CALPIRG. For Youth Earth Week, Chloe held an event at Balboa Park to gather community support & engage w/ people off campus. In total, they got over 300 community members to sign petitions, & got covered in 4 media outlets!

Congrats to our Students of the Week!.Naomi is a 2nd yr at UC Davis on the Waste is out of Fashion campaign. She planned a clothing swap event wth over 70 people swapping clothes & collecting photo petitions calling on H&M to commit to not trash or burn unsold clothing Nice work!

Congrats to our Students of the Week! .Valeria is a 2nd yr Public Policy major at @GeorgiaStateU. She has managed and trained a team of volunteers to collect over 1,300 petition signatures and 64 photo petitions for our Waste is Out of Fashion Campaign! Great work Valeria!
