Today, the Eco-Team visited Conkers, where they started with a little splash in the splash pad and playground. The children went on a barefoot walk and through the meadow and took part in a flowers, trees and minibeast scavenger hunt. Afterwards, they completed an activity trail.

We have been very busy in our school gardening club this week, taking out all the weeds, removing debris, and dead plants. Next week, we hope to begin the sowing process and plant some carrots, radishes and beans. A big thank you to all our parent helpers.

Yesterday, Year 6 went to the Birmingham Hippodrome to watch Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat. They loved every minute, singing along and joining in for the megamix at the end. What a fantastic show! They are now excited to start putting together their own version.

This week the Yr 3 and 4 girls participated in a tournament at the Forest Recreational Ground. The children showed great team spirit and performed amazingly. Also a special mention for all the girls who took part in our football club this week and practiced their passing skills.

Year 6 had a fantastic day at Holme Pierrepoint in the sunshine, as a reward for all their hard work this year. The mini golf and orienteering were lots of fun and we even learnt how to Kayak! What a great way to finish off a very busy week! Congratulations Y6, you are amazing!
