As an nb myself, I love seeing an nb character being expressed and portrayed actually breaking gender norms instead of just being "the thing that's not boy or girl" It's subtle, but giving TT both the masc and fem roles in most their skins makes me rlly happy

her rot is exaggerated and obviously not a common thing youd see irl, but its still reminiscent of people with similar disabilities such as myself, where i had to avoid contact with water or else it would worsen. even through fiction, it hurts seeing what people think about "me"

TLDR; Subspace's fictional condition can be reminiscent to common real life conditions/disabilities even if it's not the exact same Being mindful of how you talk about him can mean a lot to people with similar conditions, no matter how big or small

People pointing out their concerns on the stinkspace sticker isn't being too woke or just "defending their favs", it actually makes me happy seeing people raise concerns on this matter because even if it's unrealistic, this mindset can affect real people as well

Subspace's rot, to some people like myself, can feel reminiscent of our experiences on a metaphorical level. This might be a bit of an accidental representation, but I really did feel somewhat seen with Subspace's condition

In my experience, showers are difficult because it makes some areas itch a lot more, cause them to go red, and even using soap that isn't prescribed can cause them to spread or even tear open the skin This same disease affected my knees, forcing me to use a walking cane to help

Although the diseases themselves are non-dangerous, they can still disable you by causing discomfort or bleeding, and in more extreme cases, affect your joints and make mobility more difficult
