Oak Class have been learning about butterfly life cycles in Science. Over the past few weeks we have been observing our very own caterpillars as they transform into butterflies. Today it was time to set them free!

The children went to their first ever Netball competition and loved it! They showed resilience, determination and played with focus. They reached the semi-final of the shield but after going into extra time we lost out to the golden goal. Well done everyone, you did amazing! š¤©

Triangles create better bridges. Year 4 have worked hard measuring and cutting wood to create a class bridge. It needed a little help but managed to hold 4 iPads!!!!! Well done bridge builders.

Yesterday Willow class went to Fairhaven for canoeing and orienteeringā¦ it was a fun packed day and despite the threat of rain and a strong wind, we had a great time. Thanks to all those who made the day go smoothly.

Yesterday our year 5 and 6 team were amazing. They worked so hard and their behaviour was superb. We were incredibly proud of them - an absolute credit to our school. The relay - which both teams won - was one for the Strike Lane history books!!!!!
