To win, the first thing you have to do is not lose. Do not give points away. Make the opponent play. #tennis #mindsey.

The cost of not controlling your nerve in matches is easy to quantify but hard to comprehend. Mindset creates the tone. Whatever you think will happen, usually does. Thoughts create actions. Positive ones, create positive actions. #tennis #tips #mindset

Business is a battle every day, every minute. You either love it or you don’t. There is really no middle ground. If you don’t, be an employee. It’s much better. #tennisbusiness. #hardwork

USE THE SLICE AS AN APPROACH SHOT Use a slice when you approach. It will stay low to be hard for the opponents to dig it up. You will likely get a high volley to put away. #tennis #tips #chathamnj #summitnj #madisonnj #foryoupage #highschooltennis #collegetennis

When you give up the court, you must be aggressive. Giving up court position is fine as long as you know that you have clarity. You can’t give up court hope. You cannot be tentative. You have to be aggressive and clear. #tennis #tips ##summitnj #foryoupage

Tennis tip: Don’t let the opponent run balls down. Close in and end it quicker. Don’t let them run back-and-forth playing great defense. End all hope for the opponent and come into net. #tennis #tips #highschool #collegetennis

Groundstroke tip. Open stance is the dominant set up. Use it. You can create more torque from your calf, thigh, glutes, to your hips. The open stance connects the kinetic chain. #tennis #tips

Concentrate on reading books that are atleast 80-100 years old. It wasn’t a marketing tool back then. They didn’t have a podcast to promote or an email club to join. They were written because it was someone’s life work. Once you find these. Try to reread them once a year. #tips

Business happens at the transactional level. If you like a business it’s because of how customer service handled your request. You usually don’t know the CEO or COO. If you don’t treat your people at the translational level like the CEO your business will erode. #service

Tip: When the court is open don’t try to be cute. Hit through and hard to the open court. No games. Just hit. #tennis

Don’t neglect the value of remote relationships. You get to accomplish are your tasks and spend the allotted time you want with that person.

Tip: What you give is what you get. You lob someone. A lob is coming back. Don’t close all the way. Only half way #tennjs

Tennis tip: Variate speed and spin. Don’t go for broke all the time. Slice, lob, drop shot. Angles. Be smarter, not hit harder.

Attack when they turn their back. The ball they hit doesn’t even have to be short. If it makes them: Turn their back. Cross their feet. Hit a slice. You move forward
