Anyone who genuinely believes there is a comparison between Robins & Pelach have lost their minds. They are worlds apart. Sacking managers, especially when there’s zero credible options out there, is not the answer. Recent history proves this. We have to actually build.

Our bench today consisted of five under 21s with no first team experience, a 33 years old & two 37 year olds (& Cisse). It’s genuinely laughable fans want to make this into an excuse card.

Up against an automatic promotion contender and we’ve taken a point. Simkim making all kinds of errors that wouldn’t happen with Vik (injuries). Junior having a huge impact on return (injuries). No Sorba, Lawal, Wilmot, Viktor or striker options (injuries).

Fan turning on Robins doesn’t make any sense to me. Injuries are not an excuse, they are our reality. People failing to recognise our second half fall offs are also linked to our inability to strengthen the game from the bench… coincidental exactly what Ipswich did.

Simkim was exceptional other than the mistake (which I don’t think was primarily his fault). We should never be throwing one of our young players under the bus considering the plan was never for him to be starting & we are against top of the league away. Onto Swansea.

How people can’t see that Manhoeff is one of our best attacking outlets is crazy. I will never understand the hate he gets from our fan base.

Couldn’t care less who is in charge for them on Saturday, we have to turn them over & turn our form around. This game needs to be a reset moment otherwise the season is likely to be over.

The optimist in me is starting to struggle with the hopes of playoffs. It’s another clean sheet & a point away. Still only 4 points off 6th. Unfortunately the performance levels are so poor though. No attacking threat with so much placid football. Something has to change. #SCFC

Sorba rightfully gets the headlines because of his goal & assist contributions (he’s been unreal). But for me, these two are equal standouts. With continued development both should be playing above the championship level very soon. #SCFC

Stoke seems to have ran out of momentum, ideas & most importantly energy. The club have some huge decisions to make in January. If the seasons objective is incremental growth we are on track, if we are to take advantage of a poor league it’ll require change/investment. #SCFC

Scrappy game, which if you can’t win then don’t lose. Half way mark of the season and we are exactly where we should be. Top 10 having played some good football earlier in the season. All to play for across the second half of the season, playoffs would be incredible. #SCFC

It is possible to acknowledge our vast improvement from last season whilst also being disappointed that our recent form means we haven’t capitalised on what was a very good start. Nearly half way through the season & it’s still all to play for. Need a solid second half. #SCFC

Always the strangest game of the season for me. Seeing my best friend play against my boyhood club will always be a weird one. Not the greatest of games but a vital three points. Some strike by Pearo 🤖

Absolutely gutting conceding so late on. The later the game went on the more it felt someone was going to nick it. Unfortunately it wasn’t us this time & that’s some goal to lose it to. We will be right up there this year if that’s the best in the league 🤝🏻 #SCFC

Don’t get too high in victory or too low in… draws? 😂 We sit 5th in the league as we approach the first 1/4 of the season. Nobody expected the start we have had & performances have drastically improved since last season. Wrexham at home after a much needed break 🤝🏻

I keep waiting for the old Stoke to return & it doesn’t seem to be happening. We are unrecognisable from last season. We are finally seeing a well organised team that’s defensively solid & threatening up top. Robins is turning the ship👏🏻 #SCFC

Absolutely unbelievable performance. I cannot overstate how much we have improved as a team already this season. If, and it’s a big if, we can play that this all season, we have a great chance of finally having something to play for towards the back end. Goarn Stoke! 🔴⚪️
