P7 took their mental maths outside in the sunshine this week! Working in teams, each pupil had to solve quick-fire questions solo — no help allowed! One point per correct answer = lots of fun, laughter, and learning all in one.

P7 tackled some tough problem-solving challenges in STEM this week. Teamwork, creativity, and collaboration helped us crack them!

It has been fabulous getting to know all of our new P1s! . I was particularly impressed with the communication, determination, focus and problem solving skills that these boys demonstrated whilst working as a team to build their structure 🏗️🧱

P2 enjoyed some team building games this morning in our first PE lesson of the year.

Our P7s have settled back into school brilliantly after the summer! We've been making the most of the good weather with outdoor maths games. We’ve also been busy with STEM projects like building our own fans, and creating a height chart to track our growth through the year!

Last week we celebrated all the hard work and achievements from our learners, teachers and families this year at our 24-25 Awards Ceremony! It was wonderful to hear all the successes and for children and adults to share their talents throughout the ceremony. Well done 👏🏻

We had a lovely celebration yestersay for our amazing Support for Learning Worker- Ms McMahon. Ms McMahon has worked in St Joseph’s Primary for nearly 26 years and has contributed greatly to the children, their families and the life of the school. We will all miss you greatly!
