What is the takeaway? you need to "McDonald's" your business if you want to scale. You need to build operating manuals and checklists so tight anyone—no matter their experience—can step in and contribute fast. Systems equal freedom.

Any other business? Good luck. new hires are cost centers for at least 6-12 months. Why? No systems. McDonald's dummy-proofs it with manuals, checklists, and processes so clear it’s nearly impossible to mess up.
