Roland Burke and I have a co-written chapter on methods in human rights history in this volume. We updated our contribution to the first edition from 2017. A rich volume in a field that has not always been strong on methodological thinking.
🆕 Research Methods in Human Rights: 2nd Edition, edited by @smr_uio's Bård A. Andreassen, @dundeeuni's @claire_ob1 & @HumanRightsDK's Hans-Otto Sano with contributions from many leading scholars Out now ➡️ https://t.co/9xWHFA9Jw6 🆓 Read Chapter 1 ➡️ https://t.co/l5PufFM8KZ

Both a window display & the centerpiece as you enter Blackwell’s in Oxford for Lyndsey Stonebridge’s “We Are Free to Change the World.” Not sure if etiquette prescribes a “congrats” or a “well done” but it does involve writing a tweet and tagging the author @LyndseyStonebri 🙂

So much to talk about with @Mette_DIHR and too little time. Looking forward to think more together on leveraging HIV programming for better enjoyment of human rights for all @HumanRightsDK @UNAIDS

On a school trip 35 years ago (March 1989) I took a train from the platform pictured here at Friedrichsstrasse Station from East Berlin to West Berlin. From the greatest prison to a world with colour. I was 15. Tonight having dinner here I thought about how things can change.

Great meeting today in Copenhagen with UNAIDS Deputy Executive Director Christine Stegling discussing the future of the global response to HIV and AIDS and Denmark’s role herein. Need to get Denmark back on track with a renewed commitment to global health.
Thank you for the visit, @UNAIDS! Without UNAIDS there is no coordinated global response to HIV. We especially appreciate working together in promoting human rights and fighting inequalities, which will be necessary to #EndAIDS 💪

Just wow. I could speak forever about how wonderful this film is (from casting & writing into the minutest details of film-making like her walk in the closing scene & the timing of its length, the styling of the characters, the sound editing but sometimes two words are enough.
