When Halo 4 released, it destroyed the expectation and excitement for the franchise in the gaming community at large, overnight turning away lifelong Halo fans forever. After a misstep in Reach, 4 was an opportunity to rectify mistakes. 343i fumbled the bag, big-time.

Bro came to me arguing in Twitter premium length with such hits as: Adds a layer of risk/reward, but I can't say what that's like vs no radar Looking at the screen is a skill Halo 5 is too special to be compared to any other Halo Had no idea it is called a radar

Me: Radar in Halo 5 ranked existed to curb enhanced mobility, gives you free info for zero input, and is low skill high reward Shyway: No! Radar adds a layer of skill! Me: Adds more skill than.. not having it and needing to risk gathering info? Shyway: Aight imma peace out ️

@Shyway @Usefu1Idi0t Saying Halo 5 can't be compared to any other Halo is the biggest cop-out and cope imaginable. Radar literally gives info with zero input. 0 risk, only reward. You want to both argue it and sit on the fence as if you're not arguing. You came with nothing and left with nothing.

Always hilarious how 'competitive' Halo 5 was that it required radar in Ranked/HCS because Spartan Abilities were so overpowered, not even pros could cope without an ability assist. Yet, the competitive crowd shout 'balanced, most skill'! Another crutch necessary in Halo 5...

No fucking way the same day I reiterate this point, I find out that the Sacred Icon guy has just come back 😭😂😂 I told you all, everyone's coming back ready to hop on Halo Studios' dick chasing notoriety and money! https://t.co/LhYqBYvsyR
The least trustworthy and slimy 'creators' you know are about to restart their engines if there's any potency in October's Halo announcement(s)

100% perfect, totally sound argument. All gameplay mechanics should match cutscenes, promotional material, books, hell.. fanfic! Can't wait for the wall running and backflip mechanics in Halo 7! I wonder which button I'll get to press to do it.. this is just so exciting!

Engines have been restarted and a wave of content creators + wannabees etc. are already laying the groundwork to ride the next Halo hype train. Twitter will be filled with the most insufferable, $-hungry, disingenuous clout-chasers with a wet dream to be noticed by Halo Studios.
Let's not pretend there wasn't a wave of wannabe content creators/Forgers/artists that rode the Halo Infinite hype-train. Hoping to get a career, gassing up Midfinite and brown-nosing 343i employees hard when their eyes lit up at the revelation of the Forerunners/Forge Council.

Jeez Woke up to see this really blew up, mainly because I correctly labelled Halo Reach 'bad'... You've gotta be a kid or crazy not to know how divisive Reach was. Imma be real, most of you are MCC kids who, like a lot of Halo Twitter, think that means you played the original.

Oh, lol. Didn't expect this to pop off, but it's OK to be wrong, Reach kids. I get it, you were either barely alive or didn't exist in 2010.

It does make sense, if you're rebooting the franchise but want to pick up where you left off, to remake all the campaigns in a way you can later package together with a multiplayer offer that can be added to (think COD). Just label this clearly to not tarnish the originals.

I pointed this out the other day. You can't take too long to roll out all the old campaigns over years. Halo Studios won't be able to deliver a Halo 7 before catching up new audiences. However, I approve of this approach IF they clearly define Halo hereon: a new era reboot.
Halo 2 & Halo 3 are being remade, yes they will have sprint. No multiplayer, only campaign. Full remakes. Multiplayer is going to be Halo 7.

When Halo Studios start making changes to Halo to appease PlayStation players and then modern Halo fans are having meltdowns over 'minor changes' etc. it'll just be so damn funny.

It will be very amusing to watch this newer, broader audience getting invested in Halo and identifying with certain elements beyond the control of current fans, then relaying their feedback to the devs to get more of what they deem required in Halo. This surely can't go wrong.
