It's tragic that Russia is attempting to cage in their tech community, and this is compounded by the irony that those who stay will ultimately be supporting the war by paying taxes. Let's hope that these people remain loyal to their passion instead of making a deal w/ the devil

Russia passed a new law yesterday, (2 March 2022), to encourage software engineers to not leave their country. The 'perk,' the bait on the hook for these individuals, is a 3-year exemption from military service in case of working for Russian accredited organizations.
