This isn't something you just decide to do with only 3 games remaining. In my opinion, this is a sign of desperation and doing "whatever it takes" to fight for your job.
One change that’s happening for the Cowboys: DC Matt Eberflus said he’s going to go up in the booth and call plays from upstairs. He’s called from the field this season. He said he’s done it before.
