Losing to Houston and Army probably played a large role in UTSA playing most of its games on ESPN+ this season. It's likely a one loss UTSA would have had more games on ESPN networks other than ESPN+.
UTSA's game at North Texas will be the 5th time this season the Roadrunners will have played on a streaming-only option (ESPN+). While many younger fans find this convenient, I've heard from many other fans that do not enjoy the streaming-only option.

UTSA’s First Bowl Trip in 2016 had an attendance of 29,688. Toyota Stadium also only seats 20,500. Someday Texas State will play its fifth bowl game in program history. That’s the one to compare with this years Frisco Bowl.
