I grew up going to Japanese school, and studied in HS/college to feel closer to my culture. I’ve hardly spoken since, though, so it’s very broken. But for Shohei’s special night, I wanted him and 🇯🇵 media to feel welcomed/seen. Def wasn’t perfect😬but I’ll keep shaking rust off!
Congratulations to Shohei Ohtani on another incredible accolade! . Shohei is just the 16th recipient of the Commissioner’s Historic Achievement Award since its inception in 1998.
