Hunt: "Anyone choosing to coast on the hard work of taxpayers will lose their benefits." Same old, same old. Same pain and misery for those who are already struggling. Same intellectually bankrupt nonsense. We have been here before.

It is not my fault and I had nothing to do with it. She had control and influence and yet did nothing. This does not carry the ring of truth.
Today’s Supreme Court judgment is no surprise. It was predicted by a number of people close to the process. Given the current state of the law, there is no reason to criticise the judges. Instead, the government must introduce emergency legislation. 1/3

So, schools functioning effectively will report all safeguarding concerns. They will not necessarily know how deep and how far these go. They will co-operate with subsequent enquiries. So why threaten staff with the kind of cheap shot political statements as those announced?
