The Ballpark Village crowd was alright, more frustrated with the rain delay than anything. Then we find out they ran the Clydesdales with no one in the ballpark. I mean this is all just uncharacteristic.

The bars were lukewarm and there werenât that great of deals that I saw. Wheelhouse (rip) even opened late and had forgotten to change their kegs from the night before. Had the single worst bud select Iâve ever laid lips on.

I especially noticed it on opening day last year. Even opening day 2024, coming off of a losing season, was still electric. Nevermind that it was kinda crappy out, but in downtown St. Louis on Opening Day 2k25, it felt like the city didnât really care. This just isnât right.
