Sometimes there is struggle, and other times there is harmony - much like what we can feel inside of us. I sketched 10 of these in one afternoon when I felt in flow. Now I’m dying to paint these on a very large scale. 😍 (2/2)

Lately I’m interested in colorful shapes with line work and how they interact with each other by becoming intertwined or by operating independently to create movement and mood. I see them as two halves of oneself that can be complete opposites. (1/2) #abstractart

GM! Exploring new processes and adding water to my paints. Cerulean blue by Nova Color Paints is my go-to color in most of my work but adding water, pouring mediums, and glazing has definitely given it new life! #abstractart

3/ If you’re an artist I’m sure you can relate to the constant inner battles we go through in our work to which no outsider has a clue we are dealing with. Leave it to the artist to create problems that aren’t there. 😂

2/ As an artist I struggle between the messy, energetic painting which is a process that I love and the need to paint something pleasing to the eye. I’ve been fighting in my head and thinking it should be either or, which is ridiculous.
