You have to give a nod to the Defencemen, to see that out as a 5 after Tansey went off early. All of them earned a beer but 33:36 TOI for Cormier is insane. Kelly too, it's been said ad nauseum at this point, but he's a completely different player to how he started the year

Very pleasing game. Special teams the difference, 2 PPG's, 100% on the kill with 1 SHG. High pace and battle rate from both teams. Really liked our 2nd period especially, think we were unlucky to only win that frame 2-1. Got to stay healthy and aim to peak for the CC semi

Balmas has more or less been re-rolled to a pure Centre these last 3 games. He's been 33/28 on draws in those games, and been on the score sheet in all 3, 6 pts total. I actually feel bad for the guy. Imagine what this team looks like without Balmas

Fine with the direct criticism, but one thing bothers me: What business has Fox got calling Tansey "one of our 2 best defencemen"? I actually don't think any of us can be certain how good a D Tansey still is because he's spent the majority of the season as an ineffective F.

Really hard to be positively currently, but if the club wanted to "do a Glasgow" and tie down some assets for next season, I'd be in favour of signing Diffley back up. I think he's consistently been our best defensive D, with spells of 2-way dominance
