Part of my dissertation research in Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics. This paper creates an adaptive monitoring prior for incorporating external data into a clinical trial based on Bayesian posterior-predictive compatibility assessments between the RCT and external data.
Researchers from @uncbiostat @UNCpublichealth & colleagues present a #Bayesian framework for sequential monitoring that allows for prospective & pre-specified use of external data, and that can be applied in a wide range of #clinicaltrial applications
