CM Punk is still mad WWE never treated him like The Miz. And Cody came back so WWE could treat him like The Miz. The Miz isn’t a punchline, he’s the gold standard.
Saw someone say “WWE would treat MJF just like the Miz”.
How many people’s accomplishments read off like Miz’s? As if being treated like him is a damn insult or something!
This is the best storyline I’ve ever experienced as a wrestling fan of over 35 years. Brilliance every step of the way.
And it will only get better at Elimination Chamber in 3 weeks.
Roman is walking into a hornet’s nest. Sami is going to be treated like a God. I’m so ready.
“Tell me you didn’t feel like you were watching a damn movie— you forgot you was watching wrestling.” - Jey Uso

Yeah WWE storytelling is on another level. For months ppl have been talking about how stupid it is that Priest still had the briefcase while these seemingly insignificant details went over everyone’s head.
Here's a funny fact:
It was Drew McIntyre who stopped Damian Priest from cashing in most of the time
If Drew didn't stop DP before, he would've faced DP at WrestleMania and would've been the World Heavyweight champion

He helped control the landing so that Jimmy ended up in a safe spot. You see Jimmy attempt to sandbag Brock for that same reason. If Brock just tossed him he may have landed on the sharp edge of the table and been hurt badly.

40 to make sure Cody Rhodes beats Roman Reigns to finish the story
“Canceling student debt” translates to — “Pay off my debt with taxes paid by other people.”
The debt doesn’t disappear — it gets paid by taxpayers. You.
The students who signed up for the debt are released of their responsibilities, and the burden is now on others.
This moment is an example of how every detail matters in a well constructed story (even stories told within the context of a wrestling match). That shirt played a direct role in the finish.

He’s not fighting the champion or anyone else. *This* is his introduction to their audience. Not a match *against the champion* for a title opportunity that would allow him to leapfrog everyone ranked in the ranking system that they told us would matter on day one.

Tragic is an understatement. Absolutely heartbreaking. Bray Wyatt was one of the coolest and kindest ppl I met in my 8 years of doing Cheap Heat. An absolute gem. His family has my deepest condolences. RIP Bray.
Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda - also known as Bray Wyatt - unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their…
“Wrestling journalists,” I promise you the dude who attacked Seth does not need his story to be told. You’re giving him the gift of clout (and also making yourself part of the problem).
I’m sure WWE will say publicly that having John Cena *and* Cody Rhodes on NXT has nothing to do with the fact that AEW Dynamite airs on Tuesday next week with Adam Copeland in action.
Unpopular opinion: If KΩ signs with WWE, he *must* go through NXT. Same rules apply for the Young Bucks. They need to sit under Shawn Michaels’ learning tree.
I’ll be glad if I never saw fellow wrestling fans say “it’s a work” ever again. Not only does it add nothing to the convo, but it only ever comes up as a justification for extremely outrageous behavior.
Twitter can’t die before War Games comes to the main roster. Please lord don’t let Full Gear be the last event wrestling Twitter gets to livetweet. I’m begging you.
It’s times like this when people need to dig in and ask the logical follow-up question. Which to me is, “If you’re open to featuring her on AEW television, why is she the only ROH champion who was not on AEW tv this year despite holding the title the entire time?”
Tony Khan says he's open to Athena appearing on AEW TV.
"I’m certainly open to Athena appearing in AEW and other places. I think it’s really great to have somebody who is a great ambassador for the company like Athena. One thing that has been consistent and great about ROH is…
@TheEnemiesPE3
Call me crazy but that video looks worse on TK than Cody. He wanted to be there forever and TK thought that meant he could treat him how he wanted to. They couldn’t meet in the middle and he left. You run the company, get the deal done.
The same ppl who said fans would turn on Cody if WWE shoved him down our throats are now upset that he didn’t win in the main event of WrestleMania and therefore is not being shoved down our throats. You can’t make this shit up lol. Anyway…
I have no idea where to find the full match, but seeing The Undertaker with no tattoos battle Stone Cold (who has a full head of hair) is weird.
Still 🔥🔥🔥
But so weird.
This is a Malcolm Bivens appreciation tweet.
If you haven’t been tapped in to NXT 2.0 you’ve been missing some amazing work. Check it out. He’s guaranteed to be somebody you fall in love with and want to see on your tv screen.

I mean, there’s differences here though right? Her comeback is the fastest of the 3 so she didn’t take as much time off to heal properly. And DB and Edge both said that their bodies could handle bumps. Modified style but their body could handle it. This is what Saraya said:
Happy New Year from Philly. If you’re reading this, my wish for you is that in 2022 you do more of what you like, encounter less of what you hate, and love the life you live.
