Humbled to announce the publication of my piece on Buddhist Soft Power & Nalanda Buddhism in the newly launched journal -"Him-Nalanda: International Journal of Nalanda Buddhism" published by IHCNBT. The journal was released by honorable cabinet minister @KirenRijiju

Important resolutions were passed that will certainly drive and guide India's foreign policy vis-a-vis China in the coming years.

The delegates range from the entire Indian Himalayan Region from Ladakh, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Sikkim, North West Bengal, and Arunachal Pradesh. Important resolutions were passed under the outgoing president of H.H. Lochen Tuluku Rinpoche.

While one can ponder upon the answer, today I had the privilege to attend the first day of the three-day National Conference by the Indian Himalayan Council of Nalanda Buddhist Tradition (IHCNBT).

Can we imagine India without the living Nalanda Buddhism across the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR), especially under the context of geopolitical twists & turns of India-China relations? Or, will India's soft power through Buddhism have any teeth without consideration of the IHR?
