Genalyte is sharing their work at #GambhirSymposium. They coat an optical fiber by antibody and measure the antigen concentration by looking at the absorbance peak shift of the fiber. This method could reach 10pg/mL level and test 25 patients on a single chip, super impressive!

Aptamer-based molecular sensing on dermal interstitial fluid(ISF) presented by Dr. Vijit Sabnis from Eigen at #GambhirSymposium. Eigen aimed to expand the current arsenal relying on enzymes, instead it uses aptamer switch for real-time, multiplexed analyte monitoring.
