In our after-school Food Technology club, Year 7 and 8 students got into the Halloween spirit by baking and decorating their own spooky biscuits! 🎃 They were also brilliantly supported by our talented Year 9 and 10 Hospitality and Catering students!

Before half term, our KS3 future creatives took part in a Halloween-themed product design workshop with Mrs Maiden, creating 3D laser-cut pumpkin tea light holders. Students experimented with dry brush paint effects, posca pens, and spooky designs from cobwebs to ghosts!

The Performance department took some of our talented young musicians to The Lowry to watch the English National Opera’s performance of Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring — an inspiring experience that gave students a real insight into professional opera.

Our Year 8 students recently enjoyed an exciting trip to Chester Zoo – with 230 students taking part. Everyone had an amazing time exploring the zoo, seeing the wide variety of animals and soaking up the sights – and even some of the smells!
