Yesterday morning, Reception managed to avoid the rain and walk to the Baptist Church. On the way we spoke about what we could see, such as road signs, post boxes and crossings. When we returned to school, we labelled maps of our journey, before we make our own later in the week.

One of our lovely members of staff in our Reception Class has made us a new gorgeous sensory area! Some of the jars make noise, some are just to look at while others can be opened to reveal a relaxing smell. We can't wait to see the children enjoying it together!
