1/2 The school has been informed of the tragic passing at the weekend of one of our much loved fifth year pupils, Robyn Fryar.
Robyn was an exceptional young adult who will be sadly missed. Robyn and her family are in the prayers and thoughts of our entire school community.
2/2 May she rest in peace.
The school Oratory will be open on Tuesday & Wednesday from 10.30am until 1pm if pupils wish to sign a Book of Remembrance. Members of our Chaplaincy Team and staff will be available to provide support.
Congrats to Ahmed Al-Hajaj S6 for his outstanding achievement of being the student in Scotland to make the greatest progression in Mathematics at H Level over 1 year. He achieved an A for his H in S5 after considerable effort,pictured here with his proud Maths Teacher Mr Ferguson

St Andrew's Academy is proud to have awarded a group of S1-S3 a Merit certificate today. We had a lovely assembly where we celebrated the hard work of our pupils and sent them off on their Easter break with a wee token of our appreciation of their awesomeness!

Tomorrow’s Entry Arrangements to the school
S6 students should enter by the main student entrance.
S1 students will be directed around the building by a member of staff to their entrance.
Friday 23rd October we are asking if all you could ‘Wear something Pink’ – to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and if possible bring a small donation to put into the buckets at the start of the day. School Uniform will still be required, just with the addition of something PINK.

1/2 The community of St Andrew's Academy was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Archbishop Philip Tartaglia. We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to his fellow clergy, the people of Archdiocese of Glasgow, and of course his family and friends.
