I give them the weekend off (except for team photos) and they decide to go out and win the Junior Club Championships at Hurstbourne and Nevel Meade. Relentless! . Congrats to Brady Faulkner (71) at Hurstbourne and Eli Coomer (72) at Nevel. Shout out - Grant, Brooks, & Greyson.

More important to me than tournament wins is how the players handle themselves on the course and the respect they show to the game and their fellow competitors. Right now, it seems like I have 19 good ones. Keep it up!

Sophomore Grant Guetig just finished up his AJGA event in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He fired scores of 74-74-76 to finish 35th in a string field. Keep cranking, Grant!.

Placed second in today’s Madison Central Invitational with a team score of 9 under par. Most of that work was done by individual champion Brody Alexander with an excellent 8 under par 64. Alex Hasselbeck fired a 70 for the Green team and Thomas Evans chipped in a 71 for the Gold!

Shamrock Invitational got rained out this evening with 4 holes left to play for 6 schools. The event will finish up tomorrow morning. Saint Xavier was already committed to play in the Madison Central Invitational tomorrow morning and we will honor that commitment. Go Tigers!.

The Tigers take the Battle of the Bluegrass by two shots over Eastern. Brady Faulkner led the way with a 2 under par 70 and a tie for first place. Brady finally gave in on the fourth playoff hole - losing to his close friend Will Judd who made an eagle 3 on 18 at Persimmon.
