Today the Church celebrates the Memorial of Saint Teresa of Jesus (St. Teresa of Ávila) — Carmelite nun, mystic, Virgin, and Doctor of the Church. Her writings and example continue to lead hearts into deeper prayer and friendship with Christ.

Today we honor Our Lady of Sorrows, remembering Mary's faithful witness through pain. Her sorrows show us how to trust God's plan even when we don't understand. May we turn to Our Lady for comfort and strength. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

We have two new saints! Pope Leo XIV canonized St. Carlo Acutis, “God’s Influencer,” who used the internet to share faith & catalog Eucharistic miracles, and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, “Man of the Beatitudes,” devoted to prayer, service, and inspiring young people to holiness.
