So much fun was had by all at the P7 Fun Day. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a huge success, the P7s managed to raise a massive £528.63! 🎉
Here are just a few highlights from the event 🥳
Day 1 of camp ✅
We arrived at beautiful Lagganlia, unpacked and made our beds then explored the site. We enjoyed some baked potatoes for dinner before completing the Lagganlia scatter course tonight.
Fingers crossed for a peaceful night before a busy first full day tomorrow! 💪
P5 have been taking part in lessons focused on sustainability with the help of the Hibs Community project and celebrated our learning with the help of 2 super star Hibs players today! Thanks for visiting.😍

Our ‘P7 Leavers’ Fest’ was a roaring success! 🤩🎧🎤🎸🍕🍔🍩🍬🕺
What a send off for our P7 pupils. A fantastic time was had by everyone who attended our music themed party- lots of singing, dancing, great food and even better company.
Brilliant fun! 🎉
Very proud of our P7 pupils who stole the show at “A Festivals Community and Education Showcase,” presented by Festivals Edinburgh, showcasing some of the best community and education projects! Their film ‘In a New Light’ was chosen to be highlighted. Fantastic work everyone!👏
Lagganlia day 3 ✅
Another jam packed day here! Orienteering, mountain biking, gorge walking, rock climbing and abseiling- all in a day’s work for our P7 group!
We wonder what the last day of activities will have in store for us tomorrow?! 🤩
A massive well done to this amazing P7 pupil who organised a World Cup sweepstake for his family and friends and donated half of the money he made to the St Ninian’s Primary School family fund!
He presented the cheque to Mr McCann at assembly this morning.
What a superstar!👏
The St Ninian’s family are very proud to share that one of our very athletic members of Primary 2 ran the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 1k on Saturday in 4mins 19 secs. He finished in first place! Well done.
Our Glee Club were the first choir of the year to perform on the steps of The Dome this morning, raising money for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charities. 🎶🎄🎅🏼
They did St Ninian’s proud. Some absolutely beautiful singing!👏

Day 4 of Lagganlia ✅
The last day of activities did not disappoint…Hiking, skiing, gorge walking and bush crafts for the groups today, finished off with T-shirt making and a drumming workshop.
So many memories made and fears overcome 💪

Primary 6 got to meet their counterparts in Singapore and Bangladesh today as part of the ‘In a New Light’ project. It was brilliant having all of the children on screen at once, asking each other questions and even sharing a dance!
