It is with profound sadness that the St. Michael school community mourns the passing on Mr. Doug Smith on November 26. Mr. Smith retired in 2020 but was here supply teaching several days per week. We will miss him immensely. Thoughts and prayers are extended to his family.
In about 18 hours another school year begins at St. Michael. Please remember our school motto that was established 34 years ago as we all return. Let us all be called to Act Justly, Love Tenderly and Walk Humbly with our God. Welcome back Warrior Students and Staff!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of 146 Point Flame on the outstanding performance at the NTS Festival. The St. Michael Drama Clubs performance won Outstanding Performance along with several other awards. Well done and good luck at the Western Showcase in Gravenhurst.

The St. Michael chapel is full of non-perishable food items and personal care items that will be delivered to St. Vincent De Paul. We surpassed our goal of 2021 items for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. A sincere thank you to the incredible generosity of our school community.
Tonight at St. Michael’s, we had our annual Arts Gala. In truly unique form, we had an unforgettable evening of performances. Students even persevered through a power outage! Congratulations to all artists and award winners in this celebration of artist expression.

Congratulations to Marc Paul Campantero who finished in the top 10 in the Accounting and Financial Analysis section at the DECA Competition in Orlando, Florida. Marc Paul was competing against 170 students from across North America. Well done!
Wednesday, February 23 is Pink Shirt Day to raise awareness for anti-bullying and remind us that it takes nothing to be kind and help lift others up. Students are encouraged to wear pink shirts or sweaters to show their support.
A special shout out to all our amazing student volunteers who helped us today with our visitors from all of our Perth Elementary Schools. We hope all our grade 6 students had an awesome retreat at St. Michael!!
