Our Big Cardiff Tidy event was a great success! 23 fabulous volunteers cleaned up our local community by filling 56 bags with litter from our streets, parks and green spaces. Thank you all for helping make a positive difference for where we live. #bigcardifftidy

We spent Saturday morning at our beautiful Cath Cobb Woods. 14 volunteers joined the Park Ranger to help improve our Ancient Woodlands. Cutting and raking vegetation in our glade area. Thank you all for volunteering your time 💚 St Mellons Cardiff

It's autumn and what better time than to spend our next volunteer session in our Ancient Woodlands, Cath Cobb Woods 🍄🍂🍁🍄 We'll be at our local woodland on Saturday 18th October for some vegetation and scrub management. A great time to spot fungi too! St Mellons Cardiff

Our next event is this Saturday, 4th October. We'll be at The Hive for a litter pick of the surrounding area and be there to support the launch of the Hive becoming a litter picking Hub with Keep Wales Tidy #bigcardifftidy 🚮

Come along to Hendre Lake Park on Sunday, 7th September, where Cardiff Rivers Group will be working with the Park Ranger to do some habitat management. There will be the option to litter pick too. Meet at 09:45 in the car park. St Mellons. CF3 0RG.

We have litter picked around St Mellons Hub today so all of the community can enjoy the Emergency Services Family Fun Day tomorrow in a litter free environment. You can chat to us there about recycling at home, reporting litter related issues& volunteering with us #CaruCymru ♻️🚮

For our next volunteer session, we will be teaming up with the amazing Cardiff Rivers Group at our Ancient Woodlands, Cath Cobb Woods, on Saturday 26th July to cut back vegetation, litter pick the woods, inc. the pond & stream, & surrounding area. #LoveWhereYouLive St Mellons

Massive thank you to the 6 volunteers who braved the heat on Saturday to clean up around Bethania Row & Orchard Park area of Greenway Rd, St Mellons. We collected 12 bags of litter, a broken chair & a broken travel cot. A small group but, again, we've made a big difference 🚮💚

We were at Hope St Mellons Fun Day on Saturday with our Recycling Game which all of the children were really enjoying. Fun but educational too! They received a Litter Champion sticker, a wordsearch & colouring-in sheet for taking part ♻️🚮 #recycle

Our committee members will be at @conservationvst Hendre Lake Open Day. Fun nature filled event for the community to enjoy. Chat about recycling at home/use of correct bins/sacks, and the importance of being responsible with litter especially when in our parks & green spaces 🚮
