A successful day for our children - as part of our @unicef_uk Rights Respecting work, they have collected over 200 signatures to ask the government for further funding for children's mental health. Thanks for having us @stretfordmarket and thanks to all who came and supported us

Our @StMatthewsPri holiday club in Stretford is open to all children aged 3-11 from any school. We are open throughout the summer and we are filling up fast so if you need a space book online via our website.

This week, Year Three learned about what happens to their food once they have eaten it. They mashed bananas, crackers and vinegar into a bag, to represent the stomach, then squeezed this through a pair of tights, to represent the intestines, and this made poo!💩

During STEAM week, Year 2 have built an amazing bug hotel, to make a safe home for all the bugs and the bees in our school grounds. They have included sticks for spiders, rocks for snails, bamboo canes for solitary bees, old wood for beetles and straw for ladybirds #kindness
