Leonardo da Vinci designed a self-supporting bridge that uses friction and gravity, not nails or glue, to stay standing. It's made by interlocking pieces of wood - or pencils in our case. Y6 enjoyed trying to make their own bridges today. #STEAMlearning

Today, Year 4 sorted 2D shapes. They got to write on the table (which they felt a little mischievous about) and worked well with their talk partners discussing the different ways they could classify and sort their shapes.
