Cypress class have been investigating how families can be different. We worked on the importance of relationships and how love and respect is key. As a final outcome, we have created a Pasta sauce. This pasta sauce would be taken home and shared as part of a loving family meal.

Our new learning journey is about saving the Amazon rainforest. We used photos & a world map to try and pin down the location of our new topic. The children managed to work out that we were learning about the rainforests and what we can do to protect the Amazon.

Yr 6 learnt about Fairtrade & were able to immerse themselves in the concept of it last week. They were given different resources in the aim to earn as much money as possible. They soon learnt that they would need to trade different items in order to achieve this.

Remembrance Assembly Our Year 6 pupils led the school in our Remembrance Assembly this morning. We were impressed by the way our Year 6 pupils conducted themselves and were able to show respect and leadership in the way they shared this important message with our whole school.
