This weeks throwback focuses on our senior side from the 1982/83 season, who went on to win the FAI junior cup that season. Francis came up against Ballynanty FC from limerick in the final, drawing the match in Dublin before we won the replay in Limerick

It's with great sadness we learned of the passing of Shay "The Budgie" Burgess today.
Shay was a former long standing senior secretary of St Francis.
Our deepest condolences to all Shays family.
The business end of the season continues tomorrow night (Thursday) for the club with our U20s in semi final action of the league cup. The saints welcome Home Farm FC to baldonnel, with kick off pencilled in for 8 o’clock.

Greg and Trevor played for St Francis in the 1990 FAI Cup Final.
